Be Heard in Singapore
你好，我是 Landes。不知为何，朋友们都叫我「蓝导」。
来到新加坡之后，我为自己取了英文名 Landes。对我来说，这个名字里有两部分来自家乡：读音有一部分接近「Lan Dao」——也就是朋友们叫我的「蓝导」；「de」则取自顺德的「德」。人可以离开家乡，名字里的根不必带走，也不必忘记。顺德菜也是一样，离开得越久，想念就越具体、越温柔。
我在新加坡已经七年。大学在重庆，毕业后先后在成都、上海工作。那段日子，我和朋友在上海开工作室、拍纪录片，足迹走过中国东南西北。最难忘在西藏经历高原反应：风景很高，身体很低，这种反差，也成了我创作里最真实的力量。后来我也拍 MV、为慈善机构制作影片，拍摄、剪辑、导演的能力，都是在一次次赶路、一次次交片里慢慢练出来的。
2019 年，我带着这些经验来到新加坡，加入本地 IT 公司，负责自媒体运营、企业宣传片，也为客户拍摄探店与品牌内容。期间，我为「思家客」拍摄的纪录片成功入围比赛，那一刻特别开心——因为作品终于从电脑里走出来，被真正看见。如今「思家客」也成为新加坡非常成功的超市，能参与它的故事，我很荣幸。
我一直觉得，导演、摄影、剪辑，说到底都是服务：先听懂对方想说什么，再决定镜头怎么说。客户满意很重要，自己喜欢也很重要。两件事都做到，才算是不辜负时间的作品。
成家、有了小朋友之后，我继续深耕自媒体运营，同时也开始温和探索新的视频创作方式，包括一些 AI 辅助工具。生活让人更懂得什么叫有限：时间有限、预算有限、精力有限。新技术只是让我们在有限里，多一种安静、高效的可能。最近为客户做的一支作品，效果自然真诚，看完心里只有一句安静的：可以。我喜欢研究新东西，但更愿意把重心放在内容本身，不被潮流带着走。
一路走来，衷心感谢每一位帮助过我的老师和朋友。很多时候，人不是靠大道理走远，而是有人在你怀疑时推你一把，在你忙乱时提醒一句。谢谢你们，让我可以在这条路上继续深耕，也继续相信自己喜欢的事情值得做好。

Hello, I'm Landes.
When I came to Singapore, I chose Landes as my English name. To me, the name carries two pieces of home: part of its sound echoes "Lan Dao"—the Mandarin pronunciation of 蓝导, or "Director Lan"—while the "de" comes from the "德" in Shunde, my hometown. A person can leave home, but the roots in a name don't have to be carried away, or forgotten. It's the same with Shunde cuisine: the longer you're away, the more specific and tender the longing becomes.
I've been in Singapore for seven years. I studied in Chongqing, then worked in Chengdu and Shanghai. During that time, a few friends and I set up a studio in Shanghai and made documentaries, traveling all over China, from east to west and north to south. What I remember most is the altitude sickness in Tibet: the scenery was so high, and my body so low. That contrast became the most honest source of strength in my work. Later I also shot music videos and made films for charities. My skills in shooting, editing, and directing were built up slowly, one rushed journey and one deadline at a time.
In 2019, I brought all this experience to Singapore and joined a local IT company, where I handled social media operations and corporate promotional videos, and also shot venue-review and brand content for clients. Along the way, a documentary I made for Scarlett (思家客) was shortlisted in a competition. That moment made me especially happy, because the work finally left my computer and was truly seen. Scarlett has since become a very successful supermarket in Singapore, and I'm honored to have been part of its story.
I've always felt that directing, cinematography, and editing are, at heart, forms of service: first understand what the other person wants to say, then decide how the camera should say it. Client satisfaction matters, and so does my own. Only when both are achieved is a piece of work worthy of the time put into it.
After starting a family and having children, I've continued to focus on social media operations, while gently exploring new ways of making video, including some AI-assisted tools. Life teaches you what "limited" means: limited time, limited budget, limited energy. New technology simply offers us one more quiet, efficient possibility within those limits. Recently, I made a piece for a client that felt natural and sincere, and my only thought after watching it was a quiet one: "Yes, this works." I enjoy exploring new things, but I'd rather keep my focus on the content itself and not be swept along by trends.
Throughout this journey, I'm deeply grateful to every teacher and friend who has helped me. Very often, people don't go far because of grand principles, but because someone gave them a push when they doubted themselves, or a reminder when they were overwhelmed. Thank you all for letting me keep going deeper on this path, and for helping me keep believing that the things I love are worth doing well.
